2023: Oxbow’s year to remember

We love a party
Our Salford apartments’ resident team hosted a string of family-friendly events this year, kicking off with a Mad Hatters Tea Party, complete with Alice in Wonderland-themed food, drinks and games. And to celebrate the opening of our pet-friendly flats’ dog park, our four-legged residents enjoyed plenty of complimentary treats while testing out the new agility course and puppy shower.
Celebrating the diversity of our community, we encouraged our residents to come together and share their favourite childhood dishes at our Bring a Board and Lunar New Year pot luck events – what better way to get to know your neighbours?
The bubbles flowed freely at our Coronation pre-party this summer, where residents marked the historic occasion by donning their own crowns in our selfie station. As the festive season approached, we let our creativity sparkle at a bauble-making workshop, before putting on our favourite Christmas jumpers for our annual holiday bash.

Giving back
We know how important it is to support our friends and neighbours – both physically and emotionally. Starting this summer, we held weekly yoga classes to rejuvenate the body and mind, and hosted a monthly breakfast club to give residents the chance to catch up with our friendly onsite team.
We also have a collection point at Oxbow for Salford Food Bank, so residents can donate tins, packets and jars to those in need. To do our bit for the environment in 2023, we organised regular litter picks and promoted plastic-free July, with the help of a John Lewis Tote bag full of goodies.
